The Prototypes are a multi-award winning production duo at the forefront of Drum & Bass – with their epic big room tracks being staples in sets from the scene’s tastemakers Andy C, Chase & Status, DJ Fresh, Dimension, Friction, Kanine, Netsky, Pendulum, Sigma, Sub Focus & Wilkinson.
Bursting onto the scene with releases on labels such as Ram Records, Shogun Audio, Viper, Technique, Infrared, Formation & UKF – their tracks became top sellers (holding the #1 spot on Beatport for over a month), and gained regular radio support from ​Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Greg James, Mistajam, Rene LaVice & Zane Lowe.
In addition to their own original material, The Prototypes are some of the most in demand remixers in the game – giving their own unique Drum & Bass flavour to tracks from the likes of Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Jauz, Macky Gee, Skepsis, Snoop Dogg & Rudimental!
Normally found tearing up festivals and venues across the world, during lockdown the pair have kept busy with a series of special charity livestream broadcasts – including a mammoth 24 hour Drum & Bass & Jungle DJ set in partnership with D&BTV, which raised tens of thousands of pounds for the NHS!
We’re looking forward to welcoming them back to Stealth this Friday for a special Drum & Bass party to mark the start of the new academic term!
