Back in 2016, Belfast’s Ejeca started anonymously producing techno and breakbeat edits of classic trance tracks – he soon started releasing them on limited vinyl only runs, under the name Trance Wax. Five years, and eight sold out EPs later, Trance Wax productions have featured in the sets of some of dance music’s most respected selectors; Bicep, Nina Kraviz, Denis Sulta, The Black Madonna, Job Jobse, Charlotte De Witte, Modeselektor, Calvin Harris, Maya Jane Coles, Dusky, Paul Woolford and Mano Le Tough to name but a few.
BBC Radio 1 commissioned Trance Wax for a hallowed Essential Mix in mid-2018, and soon Garry found his way to London’s trance standard-bearer: Anjunabeats.
Following support slots alongside Above & Beyond at two sold-out shows at London’s Printworks, a Trance Wax album deal was inked – and the self-titled LP debut featuring 14 original compositions was released in late 2020.
Trance Wax’s records are regular staples at Stealth, and we are super excited to welcome him back to our booth on Halloween weekend!
