Yasmin is one of the key DJ’s on Rinse FM, her weekly show is one of primetime meccas for what is relevant and what set the standard back in the day.

She is currently in the studio collaborating with a variety of producers from House to Disco to R&B, after a series of teaser single releases with Ministry Of Sound, her release on Blackbutter Records, ‘Real’ with Gorgon City, became one of the key dance tracks of the year both in the UK and worldwide. She then followed up with another collaboration on Black Butter Records, the underground club hit ‘True’ with famed House/Techno producer Drums of Death (Azealia Banks) and has also featured on Major Lazer’s latest release ‘Free The Universe’ in collaboration with Danielle HAIM, Santigold and Vybz Kartel.

Her next two release will be on ATL with Karma Kid, ATL is Asylum’s (Rudimental, Ed Sheerans) new diffuse dance label, and on Rinse featuring on Krystal Klear latest single ‘One Night Only’, as well as working in the studio with Roy Davis Jr and Shy FX on their respective solo albums.

From the age of 17 she began spinning in the top Hip Hop and Soul clubs in her native Glasgow, her sets have grown to encompass Disco, Funk, House, Garage and Bass Music as well as her first loves Hip Hop & R&B, with an ear for melody she finds a way to seamlessly tie these genres together that keeps people coming back for more.
